Derrick Walker, co-owner of Team Australia and long time supporter of Champ Car/CART series admitted that his team might run just one car in 2008 if they can't find adequate sponsorship for a second entry.
By the same token, Walker could not hide the fact that his partner, Craig Gore, and himself are in the serious process of re-evaluating their team's future in the open wheel series.
"Craig (Gore) and I, are seriously considering the future," says Walker. "It's fair to say 2008 is an important year for the series."
Will Power is reportedly confirmed to return in 2008 but Frenchman Simon Pagenaud's status with the team is tied to sponsorship.
