Spyker today introduced the all-new C8 Preliator at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show, seven years after the C8 Aileron debuted there. Inspired from the brand’s 100+ years of aircraft tradition, this supercar will be limited to 50 units globally.

Pricing is set at €324,500. Selecting the automatic transmission takes it to €330,990. Based on the current exchange rate, that equals $476,900 and $486,300, respectively.

Under the hood of the Spyker C8 Preliator is an Audi-sourced 4.2L V8 engine that is turbocharged to deliver 525 horsepower. The standard manual gearbox is supplied by Getrag, while the optional 6-speed autobox with paddle shifters comes from ZF.

The roomy interior offers a selection of 14 leather colours and is inspired by aviation, too. The design of the air vents is reminiscent of turbines, while the whole dashboard evokes an actual cockpit.

Outside, the taillights mimic jet reactors, the front grille pays tribute to early Spyker models, and the logo is the same as in 1903. The 19” wheels have spokes shaped like the blades of a modern jet turbine.
