I was glad to note that I was not the only person in Autodom that had not heard of the Salon du Cabriolet, Coupé & SUV. This event is actually in its 21st year so, for a moment, I felt like crawling under a rock. If you must know, it takes place in Paris between April 9th and 11th.
Back to the car. Mazda joined forces with the Paris design house LK (for Laure Kczekotowska) and came up with this unique albeit simple approach to revamping the World's favourite Roadster.
As you can see by the pictures, the Black & Matte Edition goes with just about anything, including a little black dress... The only constructive comment I can make on the car is that the taillights should be smoked or darkened somehow so as not to create such a stark contrast with their surroundings. I suggest the same for the headlights and turn-signals. My 2¢.
