MotoGP champion Casey Stoner continued to show, has he did during all pre-season tests, his strong form on the Ducati to top for the second time in both practice sessions in Qatar.

The Australian was half a tenth quicker than Fiat Yamaha Jorge Lorenzo in the first session earlier this evening, but the Spaniard got even closer in second practice.

James Toseland and Colin Edwards, both on Yamaha, wcompleted final practice in front of Andrea Dovizioso to complete the Top 5.

Valentino Rossi was only ninth, with the Repsol Hondas of Dani Pedrosa and Nicky Hayden struggling even more, down in 11th and 13th places.
