3:45 PM - In a world premier, Subaru has introduced their upcoming sport/utility vehicle, the B9 Tribeca.
It will be available in summer 2005, as production will start in Subaru's Indiana plant this spring.
The B9 Tribeca is what the automaker calls a "progressive SUV", and will be available in 5- or 7-passenger configurations, as a 3rd-row seat will be optional.
Power will come from Subaru's 250-horsepower, 3.0-litre 6-cylinder Boxer engine. Standard features will include electronic stability control and, of course, all-wheel-drive.
Subaru's new SUV has a 3-inch longer wheelbase than the Outback, and is 4 inches larger.
