Forced to wait a year for the i1 Super Series' debuts, Cyndie Allemann decided to fly to Japan and participated in the Super GT series, where she'll drive an Hitotsuyama Racing Audi R8 LMS.

The Swiss, female, driver – a 24 hours of Le Mans veteran and ex-F3, Indy Lights and GT racer – already took part in her first test to acclimatize herself to the new environment.

"I did what I had to do, but was a bit disappointed by my speed. Still, it's a new experience in a new world, so I'm very excited."
She will drive in the GT 300 category, alongside Akihiro Tsuzuki, a former Porsche Carrera Cup Japan champion.
