The other Ferrari driver, Felipe Massa, was third, 7/10ths of a second slower than Raikkonen.
Japanese rookie Kazuki Nakajima was again very impressive at the wheel of the Williams, setting the 4th fastest time of the day.
Nelsinho Piquet had a difficult time driving the Renault, doing long runs and clinching the 11th time. Ironically, Giancarlo Fisichella beat Piquet in the Force India car, née Spyker.
The two Hondas of Jenson Button and development driver Takashi Kogure set the two slowest time of the day...
