For the first time in 26 years, the pole sitter at the Daytona Nationwide (ex-Busch) race wins the event.
Tony Stewart, driving the No 20 Toyota Camry started from the pole and won the Camping World 300 race just ahead of team mate Kyle Busch (No 18 Camry) and Dale Earnhardt Jr (Chevy No 5). Canadian D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) who took the start from the 16th spot ended up 33rd.
