Ford's Sync wins AJAC's 2008 Best New Technology Award
Every year, the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada hands out an award for the best new technology produced by auto manufacturers.
This year, the award has been given to Ford's Sync multimedia system. Sync is a voice-activated in-car communication and entertainment system that was jointly developed with Microsoft; it can connect your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone or portable digital music player.
"With SYNC, Ford is delivering the unprecedented in-car connectivity experience that today's consumer is looking for", said Barry Engle, Ford of Canada's new president and CEO.
