Toyota Camrys continue to dominate NASCAR's Sprint Cup tests at Daytona as veteran Dale Jarrett ran the fastest time on Monday morning with his No 44B Camry at 184.487 mph followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. at 184. 646 driving his No 88B Hendrick Motorsport Chevy Impala at 184.646 mph.
Quebec's Patrick Carpentier ran a conservative 181.386 mph with his No 10 Dodge Charger, good enough for a 36th place.
In the afternoon, Dave Blaney drove a Bill Thomas Camry No 22B to a speed of 185.445 mph followed, once again, by Dale Earnhardt Jr with his No 88B Chevy at 185.426 mph. Seven other Camrys followed.
As far as Carpentier is concerned, he ran 182,882 mph with his 10C Dodge. More testing is scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday.
