The StabiliTrak stability control system maintains control by regulating vehicle acceleration or applying the brakes at any wheel. For example, if the vehicle begins to understeer, StabiliTrak applies the inside rear brake to help turn the vehicle. If the vehicle begins to oversteer, StabiliTrak applies the outside front brake to straighten the vehicle.

There are some interior upgrades for LT models, a single antennae for the OnStar safety-security system and the forthcoming XM satellite radio service, and two new exterior colors -- Bordeaux Red and Red Jewel Tint Coat Metallic.
