German driver Klaus Graf started last, but finished first to earn his second Trans-Am Series victory of the season at Mosport International Raceway on Sunday.

Graf's No. 6 car had been disqualified following post qualifying technical inspection for a wing height infraction on Saturday. Starting last on the grid, he put on an impressive drive to win by 11.456-seconds over Tomy Drissi and polewinner Jorge Diaz Jr.

Graf made quick work of the field. It only took four laps, of the 37-lap event, for him to break into the five and was second by lap 11. Then riding in second, he got faster with each lap trying to catch then race leader Tony Ave.

In fact, Graf established a new fast race lap record four different times before finally passing Ave on the same lap he blew a right front tire in Turn Five. He finished 8th.

Tomy Drissi, who started third, battled second-running Diaz for most of the race. Then, on lap 30, Drissi finally passed Diaz for second and never looked back.

Drissi and Ave are tied for series point lead with 76 points, followed by Graf (71), rookie Glen Jung (50) and Ramoutarsingh and Kinn (47).

The Trans-Am Series next heads to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for Round Four on May 30-31.
