Uber and Spotify are some of the world's most controversial companies, and they've decided to partner to give users of the ride-sharing service the ability to select the music they want to hear out of the car's speakers at no cost.

The specific terms of the partnership have not been disclosed, however. We do know that it will start this Friday in 10 cities around the world including London, Los Angeles, Mexico, Nashville, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, Stockholm, Sydney, and Toronto.

Spotify, which is available in 64 different countries, has been accused of not giving enough money back to singers, musicians and other artists from the music industry, while Uber has angered many taxi drivers by offering alternative rides with lower fares.
