In the mean time, the nameplate's current compact, the SX 2.0 (Neon) will
continue to be produced until the end of this year, but Dodge isn't quite ready to let the car completely fade into the limelight. To be introduced this autumn is the Value Leader package, which bundles air conditioning, a six-speaker CD stereo system and an automatic transmission with the standard SX 2.0 for just $12,998, excluding employee discounting. Dodge also offers the SRT Design Group package, which includes the SRT-4's fascias, hood bulge and rear spoiler. But there's no replacing the one and only SRT-4, which will unfortunately be phased at the end of this year. For those who are interested, you had better act quickly as it may be a while before the SRT team tackles the Caliber.
