Former ChampCar and IndyCar series’ driver Bruno Junqueira had a terrifying crash during a truck race at the Interlagos circuit. Luckily, no one was injured.
The accident happened in the Senna “S” corner at the end of the Interlagos pit straight.
Junqueira probably braked too late and went straight though the corner. His Ford truck was launched over Dilmar Bueno’s Volvo, hit hard the tire wall, rolled over and landed on its roof.
Bueno quickly emerged from the remains of his truck (and waved to the crowd) while Junquiera needed the assistance of the safety crew to get out of his inverted truck.
Luckily, both drivers escaped unhurt from this horrifying accident.
