Volkswagen’s all-new and highly anticipated electric car concept will officially make its global debut on Thursday, Sept. 29th at the 2016 Paris Auto Show, but it seems the German automaker couldn’t wait to reveal its revolutionary product.
Featuring unique styling that will define future electric cars from Volkswagen, this new concept ― called I.D. ― is driven by a 125kW electric motor and offers a maximum range of 400-600 kilometres. It will be launched as a production model in 2020 parallel to the next-generation Golf.
I.D. also gives us a first tangible glimpse of fully automated driving. This mode will be offered from 2025 onwards.
