Volkswagen will be marking the arrival of this “21st century Beetle” in a grand way, teaming up with MTV to unveil the car in a worldwide extravaganza in Shanghai, Berlin and New York on April 18.
The German manufacturer has enlisted well-known artists to celebrate the occasion, such as the Belgian duo 2manydjs. On the other side of the pond, the Big Apple will be host to the Black Eyed Peas performing songs from their latest album, The Beginning.
The New York event will be broadcast live on the internet for all to see.
