Aesthetic changes sum up the compact Volvo's revamp. New bumpers, a redesigned grille and slimmer taillights give the car a look more in tune with the recently announced V70 and the all-new S80.
Onboard, the instrument panel has been revisited, new storage bins have been added and interior trim has been upgraded. In Europe, customers can choose from a selection of 10 engines. We, in North America, still only get 2.4L and 2.5L 5-cylinder engines. Output has slightly risen in both cases: 170 hp and 230 hp, up from 168 hp and 218 hp respectively.
