Though shalt use a shammy to dry
Just like cleaning, when drying a car any old cloth will leave fibres behind and may even damage the paint job. You need to use a good quality chamois, which costs between $15 and $22. Typically, the cheaper versions don’t last as long and aren’t much more effective than a beach towel. Wring it regularly to ensure optimal water absorption, and if it starts to get very dirty, wash that particular part of the car again so you don’t cover your shammy with dirt and ruin your painstaking work.
