Universal Music has developed a system that allows electric vehicles to ''sing'' and thus become more audible for pedestrians. Drivers will be able to download any of their favourite tunes to make their presence felt on the road.
''In addition to customizing their commutes to reflect their music tastes, EV owners will be able to communicate by creating a unique soundtrack with other EVs,'' said Jean-Luc Brès, managing director at Universal Music & Brands.
