Lamborghini chose the 2011 Qatar Motor Show to host the world premiere of the Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore, a special edition of the ultra-high-performance car.
Aimed at buyers looking for an exclusive supercar, the LP 560-4 Bicolore sports a two-tone exterior finish consisting in a black top and one of five special body paints. The company also used a black finish for the air intakes, front spoiler as well as the upper section of the rear diffuser. The exterior is completed by a set of 15-spoke forged aluminum wheels.
Meanwhile, the interior offers the same contrast. Leather is used for the instrument panel, seats, door panels and other elements, with contrasting stitching that matches the exterior colour.
The Lamborghini LP 560-4 Bicolore is motivated by a 560-horsepower V10 engine featuring direct injection. Together with all-wheel drive and a paddle shifters-equipped automated manual transmission, the powerplant allows 0-100 km/h accelerations in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h.
The car won't be sold in North America, but interested customers will be able to specify the Bicolore treatment for the LP 550-2 which, as the name suggests, is a 550-horsepower rear-wheel drive model.
