Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford Fiesta) took win in Rallye du Var, while Sébastien Loeb (Citroen DS3) was victorious in Monza Rally Show.
Latvala was at the start of the last round of the French rally championship in order to prepare the Montecarlo Rally, which will make its return in WRC as the opening round of the season.
Ott Tanak, Marko Martin’s protégé, was also in the entry list on a M-Sport’s Ford Fiesta: the Estonian driver took third place, behind sportscar driver Stéphane Sarrazin who was running the event in a Peugeot 307 WRC.
Meanwhile, Sébastien Loeb was running the Monza Rally Show on a Citroën DS3, with his wife Séverine as codriver. The eight-time world champion took win ahead of two other guest drivers: Valentino Rossi (Ford Fiesta) and endurance driver Dindo Capello (Citroen DS3).
