French web site Autosource claims on Thursday that Citroen rally driver Sebastien Ogier will leave the team to join Ford next season.
Sebastien Ogier has been reluctant to obey team orders in recent events as Citroen seems to be pushing for Sebastien Loeb to claim another world title.
Despite having a contract with Citroen in his back pocket, Ogier has apparently accepted to drive for Ford next year.
The web site says "After consulting a source close to the driver we can exclusively reveal today that Sebastien Ogier had agreed to drive Ford from next year. The contract has not been signed yet, but if no obstacle comes into the picture, Ogier will drive a Ford Fiesta starting next year".
However, nothing official has been announced by the two manufacturers involved. Maybe we'll know more on Friday with the start of the Rally of France in Alsace.
