If 74-year old James Hylton intends to become the oldest driver to compete in the NASCAR Daytona 500, UK's Tom Cave intends to become the youngest driver to contest a round of the FIA World Rally Championship.
Great Britain's first minor international rally driver, Tom Cave, just passed his UK driving test. He has now ticked every box on his way to becoming the youngest ever competitor to take part in next week's finale of the FIA World Rally Championship, Wales Rally GB.
With his UK road license secured, Tom can now concentrate on the final preparation for his debut in the UK round of the WRC, which begins on the evening of Thursday December 4 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
