Additionally, extra points (3, 2 and 1) will be given to the first three drivers of a TV broadcasted Super Special Stage that will be held at the end of each rally this year.
Concerning the entry list, Citroen and Ford will face each other once again. The Ford team has retained the same line-up (Mirko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala will once again be team mates), but Citroen has reduced the numbers of its works cars.
The Junior Team has disappeared. Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier will be driving the two works DS3 R3s.
Two private DS3 R3s will be to watch for, as Kimi Raikkonen and Petter Solberg will dricve their own DS3s. A third DS3 driven by Peter Van Merkjstein Jr wil make its debuts later during the season.
