The calendar of the 2012 WTCC was approved today by the FIA World Motor Sport Council during the meeting of New Dehli, India.
Once again twelve rounds from March to November will compose the championship.
Three new countries are added to the world championship for the first time, Austria, Argentina and the USA.
The WTCC will also return to the Marrakech’s street circuit.

March 11: Autodromo di Monza (Italy)
April 1: Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia (Spain)
April 15: Circuit de Marrakech (Morocco)
May 6: Hungaroring, Budapest (Hungary)
May 20: Salzburgring (Austria)
June 10: Circuito do Estoril (Portugal)
July 8: TBA (Argentina)
July 22: Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba (Brazil)
September 23: Infineon Raceway, Sonoma (USA)
October 21: Suzuka East Circuit (Japan)
November 4: Shanghai International Circuit (China)
November 18: Circuito da Guia (Macau)
