Reigning World Touring Car champion Yvan Muller (Chevrolet) leads the provisional standings by 20 points before the final rounds of the series held this week-end in Macau.

After his teammate Rob Huff dominated the early season, Yvan Muller struck back at Brno in May, when he secured his maiden win of the season. The Frenchman closed the gap to the Brit, and moved into the lead in September. The gap even increased to 20 points between both Chevrolet drivers before Macau.

With his 20-points advantage, Yvan Muller is the favourite for a third crown. But anything can happen in two races, especially in Macau. The street circuit very fast, narrow, quite technical, and rather tricky, moreover in the opening laps in race.

Last year, Rob Huff was very fast in the streets of the Chinese city, winning Race 1 (the second race was won by Norbert Michelisz’s Seat). This year, the British driver will have no choice but to attack, if he wants to put the pressure on his teammate.

Classification before Macau:
1. Muller 400 points ; 2. Huff 380; 3. Menu 323; 4. Coronel 203; 5. Tarquini 177, etc.
