Canadian driver Gary Kwok will drive a BMW 320 TC with team Wiechers Sport in Macau, for the two last rounds of the WTCC championship.
Kwok, from Markham, Ontario, finished 5th in the Canadian Touring Car championship this season aboard a Honda Civic. He will drive the 320 TC that Colin Turkington drove at Monza and Shanghai. Kwok already race in Macau, but it will be his first appearance in WTCC, and aboard a BMW.
"I am very happy, Kwok said, WTCC is an internationally known and highly regarded championship and Wiechers-Sport is an experienced and successful team. For me it is indeed a dream come true," said Gary Kwok. "As this is my first race in the championship and with the BMW, it is not going to be easy. It is a big challenge, but I love challenges."
