Yvan Muller (Seat Leon Tdi) and team mate Gabriele Tarquini won rounds 1 & 2 of the 2009 WTCC championship, in Curitiba, Brazil.
Reigning champions Yvan Muller and SEAT Sport began the new season in the best way as they dominated the race 1. Muller led from lights to flag, followed by a trio of team-mates: Jordi Gené, Rickard Rydell and Gabriele Tarquini who finished in the order.
SEAT encored in Race 2, placing again four drivers in the top four positions, with Tarquini clinching victory ahead of Rydell, Gene and Muller.
Muller and Tarquini leads provisional classification, one point ahead of Rydell and Gene.
