Robert Huff (Chevrolet) took victory in both WTCC races presented in Monza, and pulls away in the lead of the provisional classification.

The Brit, who was already leading the championship after taking two wins in four races, was again dominant in Italy. He was the quickest in qualifying to clinch his third pole position in a row.

Huff dominated the first race, leading from start to finish, after he resisted for the main part of the race to his teammate Alain Menu. The Swiss driver was forced to retire after a contact with the third Chevrolet Cruze driven by double world champion Yvan Muller.

The Frenchman was able to stay on track, and take second place behind Huff, but he will be on probation for the next races following this incident.

Chevrolet was still dominant in race 2. This time, it was Yvan Muller who tried to put the pressure on Rob Huff, but the Briton was to be unbeaten this weekend, and claimed second win of the meeting.

Muller took second position, and moved up to second place in provisional standings ahead of Menu, who was able to take 5th place after starting from the back of the grid.
