For people who buy the system for their 1998-1999 model year vehicles, it will be covered under the three year/60,000 km warranty or the 12 month/20,000 km Mopar Limited Warranty, whichever is most favorable to the customer.
Customers interested in buying a videovan or turning their existing vehicle into a videovan should visit their local Chrysler, Plymouth or Dodge dealer for details. Mopar will offer additional entertainment system options (with US prices quoted to give you an indication what to expect here) including a Seatback Backpack ($112) to store VHS tapes and game cartridges, an Envelope Cargo Net ($36) to store additional system supplies including headsets and videos, and an EVS II Security System ($305) to ensure security for the system. Additional headsets ($42) are also available.
