$20 A DAY TO EXPERIENCE THE MOLSON INDY IN THE SENNA CORNER OR THE HAIRPIN source: Normand Prieur/France Larrivée Three days before Tagliani, Ranger, Tracy and Bourdais turn wheels for the first time at the 2005 Molson Indy Montreal, organizers of the event invite everyone to come and experience each minute of this great motorsport festival at a truly affordable price. To do so, fans have only to buy general admission tickets which, this year more than ever, are both inexpensive and offer the possibility of a thrilling view of the on-track action. "We have built the stands needed to meet demand for the event, and seats are still available in each category. But I think it is useful to add that this year we are providing exceptionally attractive areas for the fan who wants to buy a place in general admission at a favorable price," explained Martin Spalding, General Manager of the Molson Indy Montreal. The spokesman for the event says that this weekend hundreds of spectators will be able to find a spot in grassy knolls at the most spectacular passing zones, such as the Senna Corner and the Hairpin, as well as close to the start/finish line and the grid. "We want the Molson Indy to be a huge and popular party, a way of ending Montreal's very lively summer season with a program of the most exciting races. Our prices are proof of that, especially in general admission. With a three-day ticket at $60 (an average cost of $20 a day), a spectator will be able to see a high-quality event with local heros to cheer for, in Tagliani and Ranger, as well as other great race drivers such as Bourdais, Tracy, Vasser and da Matta. All the spectator has to do is bring a blanket or folding chair, we offer the sun and the spectacle." A look at the general admission pricing chart shows that one can spend Friday at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve for $20, Saturday for $30, or Sunday only, the day of the race, for $40. All sorts of attractive combinations are offered to fans for a limited sum to invest. For less than $100, they can be present every day in general admission and make daily visits to the Champ Car paddock to meet their on-track heros and see the race cars up close. As for those who wish to take in Sunday only, it will cost them just $60 to access the site and visit the Champ Car paddock.
