source: CART.com - John Oreovicz Now that we've reached the halfway point of the championship chase, they've sat down and thought about their own personal highlights, memories and thoughts for the second half. First up: John Oreovicz. FAVORITE FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP JO: As much as I would like to see Paul Tracy win the title because it would be great for the series, I'm going to stick with my pre-season prediction of Bruno Junqueira. Bruno's season so far has reminded me of Gil de Ferran's stealthy championship campaigns in 2001. By his own admission, he's disappointed not to have won a race to date. But he's been on the podium nearly every time he's finished and made only one real mistake, which put him in the wall at Milwaukee. 'Junkie' is only 15 points out of the points lead and when he posts a win or two, as the Newman/Haas team expects him to, Tracy will have his hands full down to the wire. BIGGEST SURPRISE SO FAR The obvious choice is Sebastien Bourdais, who has won three races in the first half of his rookie season and coulda shoulda won at least two more. But I'm equally impressed with Michel Jourdain's season for Team Rahal.
