After selling Cosworth to Kevin Kalkhoven and Gerry
Forsythe, Ford decided to sell Pi Electronics to the same people.
"It is a logical step following our acquisition of Cosworth," said Kevin
Kalkhoven. "Electronics are more and more important in motorsport and the
automotive industry. Pi Electronics will play an important part in our future
plans."
Pi Electronics was founded in 1987 by the actual director of Red Bull Racing,
Tony Purnell. The company currently employs 320 people in United States and
Great Britain.
