Former IndyCar champion and last year's Indy 500 winner
Dario Franchitti of Scotland says that his priority is to make a success of his NASCAR career and a return to the
IRL is more than unlikely.
While the Scotsman is considering his options after losing his ride in the No 40 car for Chip Ganassi Racing, NASCAR is still where he wants to be in the future. Although he didn't rule out an eventual return to the IRL series, he said he is unlikely to go back.
Franchitti's plans for the rest of the season could be unveiled next week.
