Jules Bianchi (Lotus ART) set the best performance during the second and last day of testing at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.
The young Frenchman, a member of the prestigious Ferrari driver development pogram, set a lap in 1’35’’940 just ahead of reigning Asia GP2 champion Davide Valsecchi (Team Air Asia) and iSport International drivers Sam Bird and Marcus Ericsson. On Sunday, Michael Herck (Coloni) was fastest at the end of the first day of testing. The opening round of the 2011 GP2 Asia championship will be held this weekend in Abu Dhabi, before the four following rounds be staged in Bahrain (February 18-19 and March 12-13).
