Penske racing has claimed the top two positions for the start of today's IRL IndyCar A.J. Foyt 225 at the Milwaukee Mile

The two Toyota drivers will lead Tomas Scheckter's Chevy-powered entry, and the Honda of Dan Wheldon. Panther Racing's Buddy Lazier, is filling in for Tomas Enge, qualified fifth. The two big surprises today were Cheever racing's seventh place qualifying run by Alex Barron, and Dreyer & Reinbold's Roger Yasukawa 10th place run. Yasukawa's effort will give him his best starting position of the season. Target Ganassi racing had a horrid day. First, the rear of Ryan Briscoe's Target car came around on him resulting in a qualifying crash entering Turn One. Then Darren Manning passed on his qualifying run when his car was 'really loose' which led to a 'bit of a moment between turn 3 and 4'. Scott Dixon put in the best qualifying attempt, he'll start 18th.
