A1 Grand Prix series’ champion Adam Carroll who has signed on with Andretti Autosport will make his IndyCar debut in the Watkins Glen race in July.
Andretti Autosport recently announced that the Northern Irishman had signed for a limited programme in the second half of the 2010 season. "I think this is a great way to start my career in America," said Carroll, who will test at Watkins Glen before the race. It is still not yet clear if the newcomer will be in a fourth or a fifth Andretti Autosport entry as Long Beach winner Hunter-Reay currently only has funding through to the Texas race next month. Michael Andretti is optimistic that Hunter-Reay can be kept on, the team is currently working on different options to keep Hunter-Reay in the No.35 car.
