Frenchman Franck Perera, who lost his ride with Conquest Racing due to the loss of financial backings, his back in action this week as he has signed to race in the
Firestone Indy Lights with Guthrie Racing beginning with the JELD-WEN 100 on June 21.
"I'm doing the rest of the season," he said. "I'm waiting to get back to an IndyCar, but I can still be a rookie there next year."
"I can learn here and get more experience on ovals. I just have the Homestead experience. Hopefully I can win some races too on the road courses, or maybe even an oval."
"It will be good preparation for next season."
