Ranger once again got the point for the most improved driver as he climbed up four positions from his 13th place on the grid to take ninth. It is the fourth time in five races that Ranger gets the bonus point. Ranger is now fourth in the Championship. Starting 16th, Charles Zwolsman also moved up four positions during the race to finish 12th. 9th Andrew Ranger #27 Mi-Jack / Ford-Cosworth / Lola / Bridgestone "I'm happy with today's result. With the warm-up taking place yesterday you never know what the weather is going to be like on the Sunday and how the car is going to handle, but we had a good car. The team did a great job, and the pit stops were good, we were able to gain a few positions. We pushed hard from start to finish but unfortunately there were no yellow flags that might have helped us move up a few more. I'm still fourth in the championship so that is also satisfying." 12th Charles Zwolsman #34 Mi-Jack / Ford-Cosworth / Lola / Bridgestone "I had a good start but I was stuck on the outside so I had to cut the chicane and had to give up the position I had gained. I cut the chicane again when I was fighting with Legge and Dominguez so I got a 10 second penalty because of that. Fortunately I able to build up a 10 second lead on the car behind me and keep my position. Considering everything that happened going from 16th to 12th is a decent result."
