Panther Racing's Tomas Enge is one of six drivers who will compete for Aston
Martin Racing in The American Le Mans Series this year.
Enge, a native of the Czech Republic, makes his debut in the No. 2 Panther
Racing Dallara/Chevrolet/Firestone in the Toyota Indy 300 at Homestead-Miami
Speedway on March 6.
"I'm glad to do two big endurance races in the Aston Martin car, but obviously
my main focus and main program will be Indy Racing League with Chevrolet and
Panther Racing," he said. "I'm looking forward to the IndyCar season, and the
chance to compete in other races is just icing on the cake."
The Aston Marting Racing international lineup of experienced sportscar drivers
will share duties in the team's two DBR9s at each of the 10 races. Which races
each driver will participate in will be announced later this month.
Enge and Panther Racing teammate Tomas Scheckter will sign autographs Feb. 12
before the SuperCross event at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis.
