The team, co-owned by OWRS prime mover Kevin Kalkhoven and former F1 team
boss Craig Pollock, also revealed that the previously-announced outing at Mazda
Raceway Laguna Seca on 26-27 January would now take place on the other side of
the country, at Sebring on 3-4 February.
By that stage, the future of the beleaguered Champ Car World Series should be
known, with all bids for the available CART assets due in to day [Friday] and a
decision on 'ownership' due by the middle of next week
"We are excited to have an aggressive testing programme lined up this year,"
remarked PK's general manager Russell Cameron, "We are planning to run two cars
at our first test, and the Sebring dates presented us with a better opportunity
to potentially evaluate an up-and-coming young driver."
Mika Salo is expected to remain with the team in 2004, after a promising handful
of races late last year, but the identity of any potential team-mate remains a
mystery.
