Manager to former British American Racing driver Jacques Villeneuve, Craig
Pollock, bought into the CART series after failing to purchase the failing
Arrows F1 team before it's eventual demise in 2002, leading to strong
speculation that Villeneuve would end up back in the American based series.
However, according to reports in British magazine, Autosport, Pollock has
already moved on putting paid to any hints that the former F1 driver will be on
the grid this season after all, by selling his share in PK Racing to former CART
champion, Jimmy Vasser.
The team has now been renamed to PKV racing incorporating new investor Dan
Pettit, founder Kevin Kalkhoven, and Vasser. Vasser will be more than part owner
however with plans to drive the teams contender in the 2004 series.
