What they said... source: champcarworldseries.com SEBASTIEN BOURDAIS (#2 McDonald's Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone) "It appears that I am very good on superspeedways, but still need work on short ovals! This is great for the McDonald's team, they deserve the true credit this weekend. Once Bruno (Junqueira) ran into traffic, I was comfortable with how things were and was able to get a good lead. However, then he caught right back up to me. I was just trying to stick to the inside to keep the lead. Tonight's race was all about the pit stops. We made no mistakes and we were able to get the win. After two frustrating race weekends, it is very rewarding. It is another great finish for Newman/Haas Racing, hopefully we can also finish one and two in the championship." BRUNO JUNQUEIRA (#6 PacifiCare Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone) "It is pretty frustrating. The PacifiCare car was good; I felt that it would be difficult for people to pass me as long as we had good pit stops. The first pit stop the PacifiCare team did went good, then the lead was taken away from me. Then when I was fighting with Sebastien (Bourdais) for the lead, I got caught up in traffic. I lost positions when I was held up behind Ryan Hunter-Reay because he was really chopping my clean air; meanwhile, Sebastien was getting away from me. Then towards the final laps of the race we were racing together, side-by-side, and that produced real exciting racing for the fans. It was clean racing; we have good drivers to race against. This is another great result for the Newman/Haas Racing team, the win true goes to them."
