Kenseth Wins at Michigan, Busch Consolidates
The picture regarding the year-end Chase continues to get clearer as season-end approaches. This Sunday at Michigan, pole-sitter Matt Kenseth drove a dominating race, leading for 146 of the 200 laps to earn his third victory of the year. Second place in the race went to Sprint Cup overall leader Kevin Harvick, while Kyle Busch came in 11th to consolidate his position among the top 30 drivers who will qualify for the season-ending playoffs.
Phoenix In Line to Get IndyCar Race
Talks are continuing regarding Phoenix International Speedway obtaining a stop on the Verizon IndyCar Series calendar in 2016. This would be the first race in the city for the open-wheel tour since 2005, and though track president Bryan Sperber took pains to explain that no deal has been finalized as yet, a date – April 2, 2016 – and a distance – 250 miles – have already been agreed upon.
It’s Official: de Silvestro Joins Andretti Formula E Team
After making her debut in Formula E in the season-ending races in London in June, Simona de Silvestro will be joining the Andretti team full-time for the 2016 season. The Swiss driver finished 11th and 12th in her first steps into the circuit, and says she us thrilled to be part of Michael Andretti’s stable for a full season.
Lotus-Ferrari Agreement could Spell F1 Success

Gastaldi is bullish about the potential for success if such an agreement does materialize, as he feels deeper pockets and the strong commitment to success on the part of Renault could help drive the team to the top levels of competitiveness.
