Team Player's drivers Alex Tagliani and Patrick
Carpentier completed their second practice session this morning in preparation
for Sunday's Honda Indy 300 at Surfers Paradise in Australia. Tagliani finished 13th
overall posting his best lap time around the 4.498-kilometre (2.795-mile)
temporary street course in 1 minute 33.379 seconds for an average speed of
173.413 km/h. The Canadian driver improved by one second from his best lap
during Friday's qualifying. His teammate Carpentier was next
in 14th place with a lap time of 1
minute 33.600 seconds (173.004 km/h). Points
leader Cristiano da Matta topped the chart in this morning's session with a
lap time of 1 minute 31.514 seconds. The Brazilian averaged 176.948
km/h. Kenny Bräck
(1:31.705) from Sweden was next, followed by New-Zealander Scott Dixon
(1:31.859) and Friday's provisional polesitter, Brazilian Bruno Junqueira
