and into the evening, putting a halt to the Champ Car qualifying that was
scheduled for Sure enough more rain was on the way and TAG
remained fastest with his time from the afternoon practice. After the news came through it was all
smiles from the crew, as it's the first time they will start from the front
row. Alex said, "I'm so happy
for the team, we are ready for a front row start, our car is fast and it has
been all season. I really feel good
and I'm working well with my engineers; things are really coming together." Tag was joyful for the pole position saying,
"I called my parents to tell them the good news and on top of all that it was
my dad's birthday today, so it's even more special." There is some concern over track temperatures for the race tomorrow night, with tires not running well below 5o degrees.
