Over the course of the season rumors began that Tagliani would not be back with Team Australia at season's end. source: paddocktalk.com - rumors In Australia, Ryan Briscoe ran in front of his homeland fans and ran an exceptional race at the season finale in the Mexico City finale. Robin Miller is reporting that Champ Car team owner Derrick Walker stated it would be "50/50 we can get him," in reference to Briscoe coming aboard. The team desperately wants two talented Australian drivers on their team. As for Tagliani, he already has been shopping himself around to Coyne, who may have a new sponsorship backing for 2007 or Tag may go back to Rocketsports. The PaddockTalk Perspective: Briscoe seems like the logical answer for Walker Racing, no question. That should be a done deal, sooner than later. There really isn't much more to it. Tagliani might be best at Coyne with new funding and a new car DCR might be able to be competitive at nearly every venue next year.
