Veteran Champ Car driver Tarso Marques (#19 American Medical Response Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone) will end the season in the same place he began it as the Brazilian returns to Dale Coyne Racing for the 2004 Bridgestone Presents The Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford season finale source: champcarworldseries.com Marques, who ran the first two races of the 2004 season with Coyne, replaces Jarek Janis for this weekend's season-ending Gran Premio Telmex/Tecate Presented by Banamex. A veteran of 25 Champ Car World Series starts, Marques has never competed on the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit. He finished 18th in both of his starts with Coyne this season. He is eligible for the $100,000 Corona Cup prize, having competed in the event in Monterrey, Mexico earlier this year. He qualified a strong 10th in that race but finished 18th. The Corona Cup is given to the driver that amasses the most total points in the two Mexican events. The team will also compete with Oriol Servia (#11 YokeTV.com Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone) this weekend as it has done all season long. Servia is currently ninth in the points and is poised to give the team its first-ever top-10 season finish.
