The 33rd Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is lending a decidedly "race-y" flavor to the 100th Anniversary Los Angeles Auto Show, running now through December 10 at the L.A. Convention Center. source: champcarworldseries.com The Grand Prix exhibit in the 600 Row of Kentia Hall will feature a Lola Champ Car from Tecate, a major sponsor of the April 13-15, 2007 racing weekend through the streets of Long Beach. Special features of the Grand Prix display will be the appearance of the three finalists from the 2006 Tecate Miss Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Pageant, who will be available for photos and autographs from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2, 3, 9 and 10. Also on Saturday, Dec. 9, Pacific Coast Motorsports Champ Car drivers Ryan Dalziel and Alex Figge will be on-hand from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to sign autographs and discuss their perspective on Champ Car's 2007 season. And, members of the now-legendary Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach "Committee of 300" will be available to answer questions and distribute information about the 2007 race weekend. As always, visitors to the Grand Prix booth can enter to win FREE race tickets. Drawings for free race tickets take place several times throughout each day. The 100th Anniversary L.A.
